Length of the School Day

The school day for DAEP will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m , on all days the home campus is in session. Midway campus doors open at 7:30 a.m. Students are to be finished with the check-in process and in their study cubicles by 8:00 a.m.  Students need to arrive on DAEP campus in time to allow for check in processing.  Parents/Guardians must sign their students out each day when they pick the students up. Students are not released without a parent/guardian pickup unless prior approval from the Midway administration.

Student holidays on the home campus will also be observed at the DAEP.  Days in which students leave early will not be counted toward their total assigned days without specific prior approval from the DAEP staff.    There will be no scheduled supervision before 7:30 a.m. in the morning or after 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon. Students who are on campus before or after these hours will be solely responsible for their behavior. It is important to remember that each student assigned to the DAEP has been served by CISD with a Trespass Warning.  Any violation of the terms of this Warning will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
