Transportation

D.A.E.P. is located at Midway Alternative High School 1403 23rd st. in Canyon, Texas. Transportation to and from the DAEP will in general, will be the responsibility of the student and/or the parent/guardian. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration for district-provided transportation. Should a family believe they will require district-provided transportation, a “Special Circumstance DAEP Transportation Request” form will need to be obtained from the student’s home campus assistant principal. Submission of the completed form to the district support center and denial or approval will follow within a reasonable amount of time.

Students must be picked up promptly at the end of the school day (see Length of School Day). Students will be permitted to drive their own vehicles to the DAEP (as applicable). Driving students must park in the Northside of the Midway parking lot. Student drivers must be cleared through the principal and all required information must be provided on the first day of the term.
